This new facility allows Sparrow Health to fulfill its commitment to offering timely and convenient access to radiation, medical and surgical oncologists and a full range of clinical and family support services. Designed with the future in mind, this flexible space will be able to easily adapt to next generation technologies as they emerge.

The Plaza Building was constructed adjacent to an existing professional building. The two buildings connect via an enclosed, third-floor walkway which also connects to the parking structure. The parking structure provides increased accessibility for visitors and reserved parking for Cancer Center patients. The building features a central green space which has become the main organizing element for the new and existing professional buildings. The environmentally friendly design offers visitors and patients a view of the healing garden through the south windows, and a central courtyard area on the north side of the building provides patients, visitors and caregivers with a place to rest and refresh.
