This freestanding behavioral health hospital is located across the street from the organization's Dearborn campus and allows for a collaboration with Universal Healthcare Services.

Christman led an extensive value engineering process that ultimately helped the team realize over $3 million in savings. This collaborative effort between the entire project team took place over a six-month period and allowed the team to reduce costs while maintaining the building鈥檚 programming. A key element to these savings was focused on the exterior of the building, as the team was able to identify a creative option to switch to a pre-cast concrete exterior skin.

Working within an 18-month schedule, the team utilized early procurement to support the schedule and maintain the desired completion date. Christman has also guided the planning efforts with local authorities, supporting the project team through the permitting process and ensuring smooth and efficient results.
