Muskegon Public Schools
This bond program encompasses additions and renovations across 19 different buildings throughout the city. Positioned to create revitalized and contemporary educational environments, the bond program equipped Muskegon with the necessary resources to help students succeed. At the high school, the addition of a new auxiliary gym created easy access between the high school and Redmond Potter building. The 130,000 SF facility also received mechanical upgrades. A renovation project at Bunker Elementary involved comprehensive upgrades, including new classroom spaces, a modern office, new windows, an updated roofing system, and enhancements to the building's finishes. The project scope also included replacement of HVAC and lighting systems, new utility installations, playground upgrades, improvements to sidewalks, and minor enhancements to parking facilities. The new Charles Hackley Middle School features a three-story academic wing with over 30 classrooms and six science rooms, a music wing, and a gymnasium with an overlooking walk-around track.
