Doug Lawyer has joined 江南体育 as manager of business development in the construction management and real estate development firm鈥檚 office in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Lawyer earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in geography and political science from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, and a master鈥檚 degree in urban planning from the University of Tennessee. He earned the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).
He previously served as vice president of economic development at the Knoxville Chamber for 24 years where he oversaw the organization鈥檚 strategies and team in business attraction and expansion.

Lawyer currently serves as past president of the board for the Wesley House Community Center and is on the board for the West High School Foundation. He is a member of IEDC, Industrial Asset Management Council and Rotary Club of Knoxville. He is a graduate of Leadership Knoxville鈥檚 Class of 2015.
A resident of Knoxville for 30 years, Lawyer and his wife, Andrea, are parents to two daughters.
